I highly suggest trying to be the first off the ship so we can stay well ahead of the crowds. When we are one of the first tours to leave the port, the volcano experience is so much better. Starting at the Port of Hilo, we will make our way up to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where we will see the Kilauea Caldera, steam vents, lava tube and explore past lava flows along Chain of Craters Road. On our way back to Hilo we can stop at a black sand beach, if you like. Unfortunately, Rainbow Falls now charges $5 per person so I do not recommend that. We can also stop at Big Island Candies if you like. Let me show you the beauty of the Big Island of Hawaii! We drive around in a 2025 Ford F150 Tremor. What's included:  Bottled water and snacks. What's extra:  Meals / Souvenirs, etc.​ What to wear:  The weather can change quickly at the volcano so you may want to bring a light jacket and close toed shoes. Meet up location:  We will begin the tour at the Cruise Ship Pier in Hilo End location: The starting point, or any other place you would like in Hilo. Duration: Approximately 5 hours. Price for this tour is per group (not per person).  Maximum number of guests is four.    This is the actual price with no added fees or taxes. Physical requirements:   Must be able to get in and out of the truck unassisted.  Not wheelchair accessible. I do not include child seats but you are more than welcome to bring your own, if needed. Another tour option is to meet me at the park with your own transportation.  This tour option only includes Volcanoes National Park and we would meet at the Visitor Center or Volcano House.  The duration is 2-3 hours and the price is $625 total, not per person and does not include transportation back to the ship.
