From Hilo Side - Volcanoes National Park Private Tour and More

We will begin the tour on the Hilo (east) side of Hawaii Island. This includes the Port of Hilo for cruise ship shore excursions, hotels, B&Bs and the Hilo Airport. If you are staying on the Kona side of the island I recommend booking the Meet Me At The Volcano Tour.

This private tour of Volcanoes National Park offers you the ability to see and do the things you want to do in a relaxed manner, unlike a large tour bus. We will see the billowing Kilauea Volcano, steam vents, drive down Chain of Craters Road with several scenic stops along the way.

When finished at the volcano we can visit our famous black sand beach, Rainbow Falls, and any other sights we can fit in according to your interests / desires / schedule.

We drive around in a 2023 Ford F150 with a higher step up than usual.

What's included: Entrance fees to Volcanoes National Park, bottled water and transportation to some spectacular sights.

What's extra: Drinks / Snacks / Meals / Souvenirs, etc.

What to wear: The weather can change quickly at the volcano so you may want to bring a light jacket and close toed shoes.

Meet up location: We will begin the tour on the Hilo (east) side of Hawaii Island. This includes the Port of Hilo for cruise ship shore excursions, Hilo airport (ITO), hotels and B&Bs.

End location: We end the tour at the location of your choice on the Hilo side of the island.

Duration: approximately 5 - 6 hours.

Price for this tour: $995 total, not per person. Maximum number of guests is four. This is the actual price with no added fees or taxes.

Physical requirements: Must be able to get in and out of the truck unassisted. Not wheelchair accessible.

Another tour option is to meet me at the park. This tour option only includes Volcanoes National Park and we would meet at the Visitor Center or Volcano House. The duration is 2-3 hours and the price is $595 total, not per person.
